Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is expected to play against the Giants on Sunday, NFL.com reports.
Johnson missed last week’s game with an injured ankle.
Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Johnson’s status would also be a game-time decision, but added that Johnson’s ankle seems healthier than it did at this time last week.
Kubiak said defensive end Mario Williams is questionable for the game.
Williams sustained the injury in Thursday’s practice and underwent an MRI exam. Kubiak said he’ll decide Williams’ availability closer to game time.
Receiver Jacoby Jones, also Houston’s top punt returner, is doubtful. Jones sat out practice all week with a calf injury.
