The Giants finally added an offensive tackle as they opened up their offseason workout program Monday, signing Byron Stingily, who has started nine games in his five-year NFL career.

Stingily, 27, spent four years with the Titans, playing in 20 games. His most productive season was in 2014, when he played in 10 games, starting five. He was signed by the Steelers last year on Oct. 19, but did not play in a game during the 2015 season.

The 6-foot-5, 318-pound Stingily was a 2011 sixth-round draft pick of the Titans out of Louisville. He adds some experience to an offensive line that is set at three spots – left tackle (Ereck Flowers), left guard (Justin Pugh) and center (Weston Richburg) – but is unsettled at right guard and right tackle.

Last season’s starting right tackle, Marshall Newhouse, returns, and second-year Bobby Hart will be given a look at right guard. The expectation is the Giants will use a high draft pick on an offensive tackle.

The signings of running back Bobby Rainey and linebacker Kelvin Sheppard also were made official.
