Just when we thought we were out of the Tom Brady “Masked Singer” controversy, they pulled us back in.
But now, a video has emerged in which Ken Jeong, a judge on the program, speculates that he was watching Brady sing.
Initially, Jeong said, he thought the still-masked contestant could be Peyton Manning, but then he pivoted to Brady.
“I think this could be the greatest of all-time. He just got fined for not showing up to training camp because he is here on ‘The Masked Singer!'” Jeong exclaimed in the clip first obtained by TMZ. “This is seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady!”
At this point, the clip cuts off, so it is still a mystery as to whether Jeong has guessed correctly.
Whatever the case, it’s a savvy move by “The Masked Singer” to continue to drum up publicity to this storyline, which we’d thought had been quashed.
