If you have a good read on the wide receiver position this week and are a DFS Playbook PRO subscriber, you are going to win a lot of money. The WRs are the only thing I am not locked in on so far in Week 11, as there just aren’t players who jump off of the page in our Playbook model.
At the QB position, we know that we want to be invested in the Titans-Colts or Jaguars-Lions games, depending on your level of risk tolerance. Sure, Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger are in good situations, but they are expensive and may not be chucking the rock in the fourth quarter.
The RBs this week are locked and loaded. I absolutely adore Spencer Ware at home against Tampa Bay, and pairing him with LeGarrette Blount or C.J. Prosise seems like a match made in DFS heaven. Of course, if you have the funds, DeMarco Murray should carve up the Colts via both the ground and the air.
Tight end is a breeze this week as well. You can’t go wrong with either Delanie Walker or Jordan Reed, should you choose to pay up at the position. Then again, with no Rob Gronkowski in the mix for the Patriots, we likely will see a big game out of Martellus Bennett.
Oh, and those who listen to the SiriusXM show know I will be putting my money where my mouth is with Dwayne Allen this week. Though he didn’t grade out quite as well as I had hoped, I still like him a great deal.
So, that leaves just the wideouts for us to comb through and make our decisions on. As I say, if you have a read on a player or two who you know will have a positive return this week, by all means, lock and load my friends.
Here is the DFS NFL Playbook for Week 11
QB, Andrew Luck, Colts, vs. Titans
FanDuel: $8,100 (projected ownership 13.1%)
DraftKings: $7,200 (12.23%)
Fantasy Aces: $6,950
Breakdown: Titans-Colts will be the highest-scoring game of the week. Luck will be throwing a lot and adds rushing appeal as well. Very high floor, which is perfect for cash games. Colts have the fifth-best red-zone TD percentage, and the entire offense is healthy for first time this season. Luck is 8-0 in his career against the Titans and has averaged 292 yards and 2.75 TDs in his past four games against them.

RB, Spencer Ware, Chiefs, vs. Buccaneers
FD: $7,700 (10.6%)
DK: $6,000 (14.71%)
FA: $5,100
Breakdown: My favorite play of the entire weekend. Tampa Bay ranks last against the run in Pro Football Focus’ ratings and surrenders the eighth-most yards per game. The Bucs also have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to RBs. He will produce elite level fantasy points at a mid-tier price.
RB, DeMarco Murray, Titans, at Colts
FD: $8,500 (16.9%)
DK: $8,200 (14.53%)
FA: $6,200

Breakdown: GO PRO
RB, James Starks, Packers, at Redskins
FD: $5,500 (2.2%)
DK: $4,200 (3.24%)
FA: $4,650
Breakdown: Packers head coach Mike McCarthy appeared on SiriusXM NFL Radio this week and talked about why the team claimed Christine Michael and about their defunct running game. He directly said he knows the Packers have to get this run game going, and that being one dimensional was crushing this offense. Starks is very cheap and should be able to pay off two times his salary if he can get 12-plus touches this week. The Redskins give up the fifth-most rushing yards per attempt and seventh most fantasy points to RBs.
WR, Antonio Brown, Steelers, at Browns
FD: $8,900 (23.8%)
DK: $9,500 (24.17%)
FA: $6,600
Breakdown: It’s a no-brainer to use Brown in any type of contest pretty much every week. But he has tortured the Browns in the past. Brown has 100-plus yards in each of his past four games against the Browns, and averaged nine receptions, 130 yards and one TD in those games. If you are looking for a value play, Eli Rogers alsois in a great spot against a team that ranks last in the NFL in passing yards per attempt and sixth-worst in passing yards surrendered per game.
WR, Mike Evans, Buccaneers, at Chiefs
FD: $8,000 (13.1%)
DK: $8,100 (12.08%)
FA: $5,750

WR, Donte Moncrief, Colts, vs. Titans
FD: $6,500 (17.7%)
DK: $6,100 (16.12%)
FA: $4,700
Breakdown: GO PRO
WR, Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals, at Vikings
FD: $7,000 (4.2%)
DK: $7,100 (2.81%)
FA: $5,100
Breakdown: Fitzgerald is from Minneapolis and grew up a Vikings fan who was a ball boy for the team for a few years even. He has played in Minnesota four times in his career and averages 10.25 targets, 6.5 receptions and 93.5 yards per game. Two of those games were with Kevin Kolb and John Skelton as his QB as well.
WR, A.J. Green, Bengals, vs. Bills
FD: $8,200 (12.3%)
DK: $8,300 (11.21%)

DK: $5,900 (4.54%)
FA: $4,800
Breakdown: GO PRO
WR, Allen Hurns, Jaguars, at Lions
FD: $5,400 (1.2%)
DK: $4,100 (2.06%0
FA: $4,400
Breakdown: GO PRO
WR, Eddie Royal, Bears, at Giants
FD: $5,200 (4.8%)

FA: $3,900

FD: $6,400 (14%)
DK: $5,700 (13.65%)
FA: $4,900
Breakdown: Walker has seven-plus receptions in each of his past four games against the Colts. The Colts simply do not have the LBs or safeties to compete with Walker in coverage. Indy also has given up the fifth-most fantasy points to TEs this season.
TE Jordan Reed, Redskins, vs. Packers
FD: $6,900 (14.4%)
DK: $5,900 (16.48%)
FA: $4,700

D/ST, New York Giants, vs. Bears
FD: $4,700 (7.9%)
DK: $3,500 (6.23%)
FA: $2,800
Breakdown: I love the Giants D/ST this week. The Bears are missing the entire right side of their offensive line, won’t have their best WR in Alshon Jeffery, who is suspended, and have RB Jordan Howard banged up with an Achilles tendon injury. The Giants finally are healthy in the secondary and are big home favorites this week.
D/ST, Kansas City Chiefs, vs. Buccaneers
FD: $5,000 (11.4%)
DK: $3,400 (9.63%)
FA: $3,000
Breakdown: The Chiefs won’t have CB Marcus Peters, but they will get back LB Justin Houston, which will improve their already impressive pass rush. The Bucs are overmatched up front in this contest.
D/ST, Miami Dolphins, at Rams
FD: $4,800 (13.5%)
DK: $2,900 (22.2%)
FA: $2,700
Breakdown: Jared Goff’s debut will be against PFF’s third-highest rated pass rush. Miami should be able to keep the Rams off the scoreboard and pressure Goff into mistakes all afternoon.
D/ST, New England Patriots, at 49ers
FD: $4,900 (8.6%)
DK: $3,600 (4.8%)
FA: $3,300
Breakdown: The lopsided matchup will benefit the Pats’ defense by making the 49ers offense one dimensional. Colin Kaepernick throwing the ball more only means the likelihood of turnovers will soar as well.
D/ST, Seattle Seahawks, vs. Eagles
FD: $5,200 (7.3%)
DK: $3,800 (5.21%)
FA: $3,100
Breakdown: This game has all of the markings of a low-scoring affair. They are expensive, but if you have the cap space, the Seahawks could put up a huge total against the rookie Carson Wentz and his band of misfits.
K, Robbie Gould, Giants, vs. Bears
FD: $4,500
Breakdown: Minimum priced kicker at home facing his former team. Be sure to check the weather previous to this game though.
K, Matt Prater, Lions, vs. Jaguars
FD: $4,600
Breakdown: Love Prater at home. The Lions are letting him attempt long field goals as well, which helps us rack up points faster.
K, Adam Vinatieri, Colts, vs. Titans
FD: $5,000
Breakdown: Only if you have the salary left over, otherwise go for a cheaper kicker. He is the surest thing on the board this week at the position though.
K, Ryan Succop, Titans, at Colts
FD: $4,500
Breakdown: Succop is minimum price and has missed just two field goals all season. The Titans-Colts game has the highest total of the week.
