The Denver Post reports coach Josh McDaniels “badly wants to resolve the friction with his quarterback (Jay Cutler), but an exchange of text messages the past two days had not produced a conversation as of Wednesday night.”

The San Francisco Chronicle says “owner Pat Bowlen might be overruling new coach Josh McDaniels and forcing McDaniels to make nice with his diva thrower. Everyone has a price and Cutler might be tradable, but the price is supposedly very high and far too rich for the 49ers.”
