NFL legend Tom Brady expressed his dismay over the ongoing violence in Israel and Gaza in a post on X — the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Brady condemned the attacks by Hamas that began over the weekend and said that he was “heartbroken” over the “innocent lives that have been lost in Israel and Gaza this week.”

The seven-time Super Bowl champion became the latest athlete to condemn the brutal attacks on Israel by Hamas as the conflict carried on for its sixth day on Thursday.

“There should be no gray area about condemning Hamas’ terrorist attacks on Israeli citizens. No human deserves this,” Brady wrote.

“I’m heartbroken for all of the innocent lives lost in Israel and Gaza this week, heartbroken for the losses that are sure to follow. It’s horrifying to watch this violence continue to unfold with no indication of stopping.

“My family and I will continue to pray for the families that find themselves in the middle of this tragedy.”

Israel-Hamas war: How we got here

2005: Israel unilaterally withdraws from the Gaza Strip more than three decades after winning the territory from Egypt in the Six-Day War.

2006: Terrorist group Hamas wins a Palestinian legislative election.

2007: Hamas seizes control of Gaza in a civil war.

2008: Israel launches military offensive against Gaza after Palestinian terrorists fired rockets into the town of Sderot.

2023: Hamas launches the biggest attack on Israel in 50 years, in an early-morning ambush Oct. 7, firing thousands of rockets and sending dozens of militants into Israeli towns.

Terrorists killed more than 1,200 Israelis, wounded more than 4,200, and took at least 200 hostage.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quick to announce, “We are at war,” and vowed Hamas would pay “a price it has never known.”

The Gaza Health Ministry — which is controlled by Hamas — reported at least 3,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 12,500 injured since the war began.

Brady’s condemnation follows NBA superstar LeBron James, who put out a statement on Wednesday.

In a statement, James and longtime friend and SpringHill Company CEO Maverick Carter denounced the actions that have taken the lives of more than 1,000 Israelis.

“The devastation in Israel is tragic and unacceptable. The murder and violence against innocent people by Hamas is terrorism,” the statement read.

“The SpringHill Company family sends our deepest condolences to Israel and the Jewish community. We pray for peace in the region and reiterate our continued commitment to fight hate in all its forms.

“We all must work to ensure this tragedy does not spread even more hate, racism, and antisemitism.”

The ongoing war has claimed the lives of at least 2,700 on both sides, according to The Associated Press.

Israel has only intensified its bombing of the Gaza Strip with the death toll in that area surpassing 1,500.

More than 1,300 Israelis have been confirmed killed by Hamas in the deadliest assault on the country in roughly half a century.
