Tom Brady is really playing through generations.

After leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 38-10 victory over the Packers Sunday, the veteran quarterback was caught on camera having a conversation with Green Bay rookie Jon Runyan Jr. near midfield.

This was no normal postgame chat between opponents, because Brady played alongside the Packers guard’s dad, Jon Runyan Sr., at the University of Michigan.

At 43 years old, Brady is the oldest quarterback in the NFL. He played at Michigan from 1995 to 1999.

Runyan Sr. went on to play 14 seasons in the NFL, competing for the Houston Oilers (now Tennessee Titans), Philadelphia Eagles and San Diego Chargers (now in Los Angeles). He then served as the US representative for New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District from 2011 to 2015.

The younger Runyan also played football for the Wolverines before he was drafted in the sixth round (192nd overall) by the Packers during this year’s draft.
