Tom Brady says he’s “never quit on anything in [his] life” amid rumors that he and his wife Gisele Bündchen are headed for a divorce.
During the latest episode of his “Let’s Go!” podcast on SiriusXM, the Buccaneers quarterback, 45, discussed being committed to things that are important to him while addressing a possible second retirement.
“I said last week that there’s no immediate retirement in my future,” Brady said following chatter last week that he could cut short his season due to issues in his personal life. “There was a retirement in the past, but I moved on from that.
“But certainly not, you know, I’ve never — you know, I made a commitment to this team and I love this team and I love this organization. I told them in March I was playing and I’ve never quit on anything in my life.”

“I know a bunch of teammates that we all count on one another to be at our best and to work hard and to put the team first — and that’s what you commit to and that’s what you want your teammates to commit to as well,” Brady said.
“I just, I want to keep fighting as hard as I can and I’m always trying to do better. I’m always trying to work hard and I’m always trying to commit more to the things that are important to me. And this team is very important to me and I certainly want to be the best I can be for them.”

Last month, Page Six was first to report that Brady and Bündchen are at odds following a blowout fight over the quarterback’s decision to un-retire from the NFL.
Both Brady and Bündchen reportedly have hired divorce lawyers and are living separately. They share two kids — son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9 — and they co-parent Brady’s son Jack, 15, from Brady’s previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
Bündchen was spotted with the couple’s kids over the weekend while at a pumpkin patch in Miami. The supermodel has yet to attend any of Brady’s games this season after being a regular presence at games throughout his career.

Last month, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel — who married Brady in 2009 — opened up about the couple’s relationship in a rare interview with Elle magazine.
“I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom],” she said. “I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams.”
When Brady un-retired in February, Bündchen publicly supported the quarterback. She even sent him and the Buccaneers well wishes for the season in a tweet ahead of the season opener against the Cowboys.
However, Bündchen did express her “concerns” for Brady continuing to play football.
“Obviously, I have my concerns — this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” Bündchen told Elle. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”
Neither Brady nor Bündchen has publicly addressed divorce reports.
