Not everything went right for Tom Brady on Super Bowl Sunday.
The Patriots quarterback and now four-time Super Bowl MVP lost his game jersey after leading New England to a 34-28 overtime win over the Falcons in Houston.
“It was right here. I know exactly where I put it,” Brady said, according to USA Today, from the Patriots’ locker room.
Brady said he alerted the security staff and the Patriots team managers, and was still feverishly looking for it as he was talking to the outlet. But, according to the report, he was convinced the jersey was stolen.
“This is not good,” Brady said. “It was right here and now I don’t have it. Not good.”
Brady left the locker room without finding the No. 12 he wore during the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history, leading the Patriots back from a 28-3 second-half deficit.
“It is going to be on eBay soon, I guess,” Brady said.
