A knee issue didn’t prevent Tom Brady from winning a seventh Super Bowl or partying to the fullest in the aftermath.

But the Buccaneers’ 43-year-old quarterback will undergo minor surgery on his knee before gearing up for his 22nd NFL season, according to multiple reports.

Bucs coach Bruce Arians described the procedure as “a clean up,” the Tampa Bay Times reported. Brady played most of the season with some discomfort in his knee, per NFL Network, but did not miss a game while leading the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl 2021 win over the Chiefs.

Brady could be seen wearing a sleeve over his left knee Wednesday while celebrating his latest championship on a yacht during the Buccaneers’ boat parade. He needed some help walking back on land after the parade, as seen in a video that went viral and led to Brady quipping that he had a “litTle avoCado tequila.”

Brady’s left knee is the one in which he suffered a torn ACL and MCL in 2008 with the Patriots.
