He’s on hand.
Tom Brady and his contentious, stitched-up throwing hand arrived at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., for the AFC Championship with that right paw planted firmly in his pocket.
After his injury Wednesday during a collision with running back Rex Burkhead, Brady has missed a few practices and been particular about not letting the public see the damage. On Sunday, that trend continued right up to game time.
According to The MMQB, Brady suffered a collateral ligament sprain in his right thumb. He is officially listed as questionable, which can be ignored. He appeared at media sessions with a glove over his hand, and according to ESPN, Brady “probably” will wear a glove while facing the Jaguars.
The 40-year-old has said he is not a fan of wearing gloves to throw, but a Super Bowl berth is on the line.
