New on the injury list and not available to face the Jets Saturday is WR David Tyree (hamstring).

With the first cuts coming Tuesday and the final roster set next Saturday, this is probably nearing the end of the line for Tyree, a Super Bowl XLII hero who is an extreme long-shot to stick.

Out for the game: DT Chris Canty (hamstring), DT Jay Alford (knee), LB Antonio Pierce (foot), CB Aaron Ross (hamstring), CB Stoney Woodson (ankle), LB Michael Boley (PUP/hip) and OL Orrin Thompson (quad).
