“Thursday Night Football” is shaping up to be a slobberknocker.

The undefeated Dolphins head to Cincinnati to face the defending AFC champion Bengals this week. New Miami wideout Tyreek Hill was on the Chiefs team that lost to the Bengals in the AFC Championship game, and he recalled his beef with defensive back Eli Apple.

“That’s going to be lit,” Hill said, when informed the Dolphins play Thursday night on Amazon Prime Video. “I’m looking forward to the challenge. It’s going to be fun. I can’t wait to go against Eli Apple. I owe you, boy. I owe you!”

Hill concluded: “I’m here. The cheetah is here. Let’s eat.”

In the AFC title game, Apple made a massive open-field tackle on Hill to keep the speedy wideout out of the end zone. The Chiefs were up 21-10 at the time, and the tackle prevented it from becoming a three-score game headed into halftime. The Bengals ultimately came back in the second half, winning the game 27-24 — and earning a trip to the Super Bowl.

Apple, who was drafted by the Giants in 2016 and has spent much of his career enduring criticism, celebrated the tackle on social media after the game, by calling Hill a “baby.”

Thursday’s game will have early implications on the AFC playoff race. The Bengals are trying to climb out of a hole following an 0-2 start, and will look to continue to build momentum off their 27-12 victory over the Jets on Sunday. The 3-0 Dolphins, meanwhile, are — along with the Eagles and 2-0 Giants, who play the Cowboys Monday night — the only remaining undefeated teams in the NFL.

The Bengals opened as two-point favorites for Thursday night, but the line has crept up to 3 1/2 points.
