Troy Vincent, the NFL executive vice president of football operations, told reporters on Wednesday that there haven't been talks about potentially postponing the Bills' Week 18 game against the Patriots in the wake of Damar Hamlin going into cardiac arrest on Monday.

“We have not had that discussion,” Vincent said, according to Pro Football Talk. “It’s really important that we just keep the pulse of the coach and the players, and don’t get in front of that. And we’ll allow [Bills head coach] Sean [McDermott] and his team and his staff and his players, which are the most important thing here, to guide this, if we have to make that decision collectively with the club.”

President Biden was in touch with the parents of Damar Hamlin's parents, according to Jennifer Jacobs of Bloomberg News.

Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has been a beacon of support for Damar Hamlin’s family as the Bills safety remains in critical condition after suffering cardiac arrest during “Monday Night Football” in Cincinnati.

Hamlin collapsed on the field during the first quarter of the Bills-Bengals game on Monday after he stood up following a routine, clean tackle on Higgins. The 24-year-old, Hamlin was administered CPR by medical personnel and his heartbeat was restored on the field before he was transferred to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, the Bills said.

Before getting into any football with his Giants players, Daboll addressed Hamlin’s condition during the Wednesday morning team meeting. After consulting with general manager Joe Schoen — who, like Daboll, came to the Giants from the Bills — Daboll had team medical personnel at the meeting, including Dr. Lani Lawrence, the Giants’ director of wellness and clinical services, and team chaplain Gian Paul Gonzalez, speak with players and answer any questions they might have. Gonzalez offered a prayer for Hamlin’s recovery.

The Buffalo Bills said Wednesday afternoon that Damar Hamlin remains in the intensive care unit in critical condition with signs of improvement noted yesterday and overnight," as Hamlin's marketing rep Jordon Rooney noted to reporters earlier Wednesday.
