Here are three things to watch for in the Giants’ final preseason game on Thursday. They face the Patriots.

1. Young offensive linemen Brian Mihalik, Nick Gates, Chad Slade and Victor Salako will all get plenty of work in this game. With Chad Wheeler out with a back injury and rookie George Asafo-Adjei missing so much time in concussion protocol, a surprise player will make the roster here.

2. The third tight end spot after Evan Engram and Rhett Ellison is in the hands of Scott Simonson. Rookie C.J. Conrad has done enough to warrant a spot on the practice squad. Can he do anything in this last showcase to grab a final roster spot?

3. You get a kick out of seeing Super Bowl winning quarterbacks wearing baseball caps? If so, enjoy the sight of Eli Manning and Tom Brady hanging out on the sideline. Manning has thrown just 13 passes in the preseason. Brady has thrown 12. Remind us why, again, these teams are allowed to charge so much for these summer games.
