With the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft in the books, The Post’s Paul Schwartz and Brian Costello look at which positions the Giants and Jets could target Friday night for Day 2 of the draft, which features the second and third rounds. The draft finishes on Saturday with Rounds 4-7.

What Giants might do on Day 2 of 2023 NFL Draft

The wide receivers that intrigued the Giants in the first round were off the board when they were on the clock and adding a target for Daniel Jones remains a priority.

Two Tennessee wideouts, Jalin Hyatt and Cedric Tillman, made it to the second round, as did Jonathan Mingo (Mississippi).

The Giants need to get some help for their offensive line and Day 2 is a good place to get it.

Quality center prospects John Michael Schmitz and Joe Tippmann were not taken in the first round.

What Jets might do on Day 2 of 2023 NFL Draft

The Jets only have one pick in the second round and no picks in the third round after the trade of Elijah Moore and the trade for Aaron Rodgers.

After not taking an offensive lineman in the first round, it would not be a surprise to see the Jets take a tackle or a center on Friday.

Keep an eye on top centers John Michael Schmitz of Minnesota and Joe Tippmann of Wisconsin if they are available.

Joe Douglas also may try to trade down and get more picks.

The Jets only have three Day 3 picks.
