This could be a Day 2 or more likely a Day 3 target for the Giants, as there is a big hole on the roster now that A’Shawn Robinson is gone, having signed with the Panthers.
That leaves star interior linemen Dexter Lawrence and … who?
Lawrence is a superb player, but even he needs help.
Kris Jenkins could be a target for the Giants in the 2024 NFL Draft. USA TODAY SportsVeteran Rakeem Nunez-Roches could move in as a starter or it could be newly signed Jordan Phillips, 31, who has loads of experience.
There also is Jordon Riley and D.J. Davidson in reserve.
Joe Schoen and the Giants could use another defensive lineman on their roster. Charles WenzelbergAnother big body would be a welcome addition to the room.
How about Kris Jenkins (Michigan), massive (366 pounds) T’Vondre Sweat (Texas), Michael Hall (Ohio State) or DeWayne Carter (Duke) as options?
