Post writers Paul Schwartz and Brian Costello on what to look for from the Giants during Day 3 (Rounds 4-7) of Saturday’s 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City, Mo.:

Giants

The Giants in the first two days of the NFL Draft checked off three boxes, as far as needs they wanted to address on their roster by adding a cornerback, center and wide receiver with speed.

They traded away their pick in the fourth round and now have four picks remaining for Saturday — one apiece in the fifth and sixth rounds and two in the seventh round.

It is likely they will try to find a safety to make up for the loss of Julian Love in free agency.

They also could use depth at linebacker and offensive tackle.

Jets

The Jets only have three picks entering Saturday — one in the fourth round and two in the fifth round.

UCLA quarterback Dorian Robinson-Thompson could be a an option for the Jets in Day 3 of the NFL draft. AP UCLA quarterback Dorian Robinson-Thompson could be a an option for the Jets in Day 3 of the NFL draft. AP

They still could use another linebacker, an interior defensive lineman and some depth at wide receiver.

I also would keep an eye on them taking a developmental quarterback in the fifth round.

If UCLA’s Dorian Thompson-Robinson is there, he would be an intriguing pick for the Jets.

— Brian Costello
