Including the 1997-2014 seasons in The Post, Cat’s record in print stands at 523-446 (54 percent) against the spread.

Saturday

Northern Illinois (+5) over BOSTON COLLEGE: Parity reigns, as MAC sides are doing more than OK this season when up against bigger names, and off-brand Huskies personify the label “road warriors.” It takes a quick side to beat them, and stolid Eagles don’t boast that kind of zip. Steve Addazio lost his starting QB, Darius Wade, leaving BC vulnerable at a critical position. It’s NIU to upset, for one unit.

Sunday

Bills (+3) over DOLPHINS: You can’t be surprised Tyrod Taylor (at near-favoritism) against Tom Brady didn’t work out. Cat’s not anticipating another 14-flag performance from the Bills as they rebound from a loss to the Patriots, with their special teams supplementing hysteria with constructive focus. Ryan Tannehill threw it 44 times as the Dolphins’ ground game proved an epic failure against Jacksonville. You’re expecting a different result, against an infinitely tougher Rex Ryan defense? Wrong team’s favored? Buffalo stampedes, for one unit.

Last week: 1-1. Western Kentucky (L), Cardinals (W).
Season: 5-2
