Saturday
Bears (+5¹/₂) over LIONS: The Lions remain in the playoff hunt following a late victory at Tampa Bay. The Bears were eliminated from playoff contention long ago, but could give the final dagger to Detroit as they head in with confidence after a dominating effort against the Bengals. Though Detroit has posted an 8-4-1 ATS mark as a division home favorite, we’ll side with the Bears as the ’dog is a solid 7-1- 1 ATS in their recent matchups.
Sunday
SEAHAWKS (-2¹/₂) over Rams: First place in the NFC West is on the line as the Rams head north looking to even up the season series (Seattle won 16-10 in Los Angeles in Week 5 despite a 375-241 yardage deficit). Though both teams come into this following losses, a couple of recent trends have us leaning with the home team. The Rams are just 8-16 ATS as a division away ’dog, and the Seahawks have been an extremely solid 17-8 ATS as NFC West home chalk. Seattle will earn a sweep of the Rams for the first time in four years.
Last week (NFL): 1-1
Season: 17-9-2
