Before anyone starts getting the bright idea that the Giants, given the uncertain nature of Plaxico Burress’ future with the team, should take a chance on signing the suddenly-unemployed Terrell Owens, forget it.

The Giants aren’t interested.

They have “zero interest in Owens” according to someone familiar with the Giants thinking. That settles that.

Owens was released by the Cowboys late Wednesday night.
