Howard Stern’s interview with Tom Brady got off to a brutal start.

The 42-year-old quarterback, who called into the show on Zoom to begin the 8 a.m. hour, kept freezing up over the first roughly 10 minutes of the interview, so he had to move off of the video teleconference service — which has become popular with people working from home amid the coronavirus outbreak — to a phone line.

“Don’t you think Jeter’s trying to save on internet?” Stern joked.

Brady, who left the Patriots after 20 years to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, recently moved into Derek Jeter’s house in the Tampa area.
