With exceptional speed and solid size, there’s hope he brings a lot to the table in this upcoming season for the Canadiens.

Simon Nemec, an 18-year-old Slovak native, was selected second overall by the New Jersey Devils in this year’s 2022 NHL draft. The young defenseman, standing 6-foot even, weighing 190 pounds, had six points in eight games during the world championship and is a much needed addition to the Devils.

Logan Cooley, an 18-year-old Pittsburgh native, was drafted third overall in this year’s 2022 NHL draft by the Arizona Coyotes. The young center stands at 5-foot-10, weighing 174 pounds. Despite his size, Cooley offers the Coyotes an opportunity to pump some young, offensive blood into their much needed roster.

Shane Wright, an 18-year-old Ontario native, was drafted fourth overall by the Seattle Krakens in this year’s 2022 NHL draft. The young center stands at 6-foot even, weighing 191 pounds. Earlier in the year, buzz around Wright had him projected to go No. 1 overall, but with the Canadiens passing on him and the Devils and Coyotes needing a center, he fell to No. 4 overall.

The young left-winger stands at 6-foot-2, weighing 189 pounds. With his size and quick puke release, he’ll hopefully make an excellent addition to the Flyers roster.
