The Ottawa Senators went to one of the most famous game show hosts in the world for help in announcing their pick Tuesday at the NHL Draft.
With the famous “Jeopardy!” background music playing, host Alex Trebek provided the answer to the following question: With the 3rd pick in the 2020 NHL Draft the Ottawa Senators choose the this player.
“The correct response?,” Trebek said. “Who is Tim Stützle.”
The 18-year-old Stützle, a German native, is a smooth skater able to play center or wing.
Trebek, 80, is continuing his battle against stage 4 pancreatic cancer, which he was diagnosed with last March.
