Devils defenseman Matt Corrente will be out 2-4 weeks with a shoulder injury suffered in a fight against the Lightning’s Steve Downie, NJ.com reports.

“It’s nothing career-threatening or anything like that. Two to four weeks is probably the real span, but I hope it’s only two weeks,” Corrente said, according to the website. “I know I’ll probably be out a solid two weeks.”

Corrente and Downie fought in the first period of the teams’ game Friday.
