Rick DiPietro was back on the ice yesterday following last month’s knee surgery, although the the goalie isn’t likely to play anytime soon.

The Isles continue to try to figure out their lineup after dealing with several injuries. Yesterday, Tim Jackman, who was sent down to Bridgeport on Monday, was recalled along with Mitch Fritz as the status of Kyle Okposo (arm) and Nate Thompson (leg) remains undetermined for tomorrow’s game in Washington.
