Henrik Lundqvist faced some shots Thursday during the Rangers’ optional practice and proclaimed himself about as healthy as he’s going to get this late in the season.

Whether that means he will be back in the lineup Saturday at Detroit or at The Garden on Sunday is up to the coaching staff.

Lundqvist is shooting for Saturday: “That’s the plan.”

Either way, Lundqvist remaining on the ice the rest of the season is the Rangers’ top priority after he missed their past three games following a collision with teammate Ryan McDonagh in Pittsburgh that caused neck spasms.

With 15 games remaining, it’s logical for thoughts to drift toward playoff seeding and the ever-important home ice.

Lundqvist, though, insisted that isn’t the case.

“The focus is just to get in, really,” Lundqvist said. “Maybe the last couple of games you look at [the standings] closely.’’

The Rangers, who were able to survive Lundqvist’s absence, have just a two-point lead over the Islanders to determine where a potential Game 7 would be played — and the Isles have two games in hand.

But the goalie pointed to recent history as a reason not to get overly concerned about where they are in the standings.

“Last year, you think with the home [ice] advantage, it would help [us] get to the finals and instead we played better on the road,” Lundqvist said of the Rangers’ series against the Lightning, when the Blueshirts lost Games 5 and 7 at the Garden and won Game 6 at Tampa Bay.

“So you never know going into the playoffs,’’ Lundqvist said. “It’s just a different animal when you go into that part of the season. Of course, it’s a lot more fun to win at home, but I don’t know if it’s more of an advantage.”

The real advantage will come from keeping Lundqvist in one piece.

“I feel good about the progress,” Lundqvist said of his injury. “I would say I’m pretty close to 100 percent. I don’t think you ever feel 100 percent. There’s always something going on with your body, but I feel pretty close to recovered.”

He will face another test during the full practice Friday, but so far has suffered no setbacks.

“The last couple of days have been really good,” Lundqvist said. “I’ll leave it up to the coaches for the plan for the weekend.”

Whenever he does return, Lundqvist will have some catching up to do to regain the form he had prior to the injury.

“Now it’s more about getting the game to where it was a week ago,” Lundqvist said. “You just have to work for it. It’s not like you just lace it up and start playing.”
His teammates will take their chances with Lundqvist.

“He’s the best goalie in the world,” Mats Zuccarello said. “He’s obviously our best player whenever he’s out there. As well as [Antti] Raanta did for us — and he might have been our best player at times, too — we’re always better when [Lundqvist] is good to go.’’
