It sure sounds like if it was up to Jaroslav Halak, the Islanders No. 1 goalie will make his season debut Saturday night against the Sharks at Barclays Center.

“It’s more being cleared by myself because I know my body better than anybody,” Halak told The Post after he fully participated in Friday’s practice, his second in a row. “So it’s just that I feel better every day, and I’m pretty close to coming back. [Friday] I feel good, and so we’ll see how I feel [Saturday] and go from there.”

Halak suffered an upper-body injury in training camp, and has spent the past week or so working on his conditioning to be ready to play a full game. He hasn’t seen game action since his only preseason contest, two periods on Sept. 21.

“He’s getting close,” coach Jack Capuano said. “He had a good skate [Friday], skated with the full team. Last couple days have been good. I can’t think it’s going to be too much longer.”

Backup Thomas Greiss has played in three of the first four games for the Islanders (2-1-1). AHL standout Jean-Francois Berube, claimed on waivers from the Kings, has played one. Halak is not on the IR, so the team’s plan is to carry three goalies for the foreseeable future.
