Unrestricted free agent Zach Parise, the incumbent Devils captain, decided not to pick his next team on Monday, and instead will discuss his future with his fiance and family in Minnesota.

Parise is believed to be weighing offers in the $100 million range for 8-13 year deals, with the Devils, Penguins, Red Wings, Wild, and Flyers thought to be among the leading suitors.

Parise would not give a timetable for his decision, although agent Wade Arnott said “we could be drawing closer to a decision.”
