The Devils today signed center Fedor Fedorov to a new contract. As per club policy, no further terms were disclosed.

Fedorov, 27, returns to North America for the first time since 2005-06, after spending 2007-08 with Dynamo (Russia). The 6-4, 230-pound forward appeared in three games with the Rangers in 2005-06. The younger brother of Sergei Fedorov played 15 games with Vancouver during the 2002-03 and 2003-04 NHL seasons. He spent three seasons in the Canucks’ organization.

He recorded 12 goals and 14 assists for 26 points and 119 penalty minutes in 49 games last season.
