Yesterday, the AP reported that Michael Nylander, who was having a fine season for the Capitals, is now done for the rest of the season. There’s no telling if this would have happened had he remained a Ranger, but Blueshirt fans can be thankful this particular fate hasn’t befallen their leading scorer.

However, that’s a faint silver lining amidst what’s plaguing the Rangers.
