Jonathan Quick will remain a Ranger for at least another year. 

The Blueshirts signed the future Hall of Fame goalie to a one-year contract extension at $1.55 million, the team announced Wednesday morning. 

The deal includes a base salary of $1 million, a $550,000 signing bonus and up to $300,000 in potential performance bonuses, according to a source.

If Quick starts at least 20 games and posts a save percentage of .915 or higher, the Connecticut native receives $75,000. 

At 35 and 40 games, Quick unlocks $25,000 and $50,000 in bonuses, respectively. If he wins 20 games, he gets $50,000.

And if he hits 25 wins, Quick earns $100,000. 

It’s been a perfect fit in New York for Quick, who was traded away from the team he backstopped to two Stanley Cups, the Los Angeles Kings, in March 2023. 

He was sent to Columbus before he was flipped to Vegas, where he won his third championship ring in a depth role. 

As a free agent in the summer ahead of the 2023-24 season, Quick signed a one-year deal with the Rangers at $925,000 before signing an extension at $1.275 million for this season last March. 

In 48 games with the Rangers, Quick has accumulated a 27-12-4 record, a .904 save percentage and a 2.83 goals-against average with five shutouts.

Among NHL goalies who have played in 50 or fewer games since the beginning of the 2023-24 season, Quick ranks tied for first with 27 wins. 

The 39-year-old has reached several milestones in a Rangers jersey, including becoming the winningest American-born goalie and the first U.S. netminder to reach 400 career wins.
