The Battle of New York is retaking the outdoor stage … in New Jersey.

According to multiple reports Tuesday, the Rangers and Islanders are slated to compete in the 2024 Stadium Series at MetLife Stadium next season.

It is expected to be one of two hockey games hosted at the home of the Jets and Giants, with the other being between the Devils and Flyers.

The expectation is that the two contests will be on back-to-back days in next February.

The last time the Rangers competed in the Stadium Series was in 2014, when the club played against the Devils and Islanders at Yankee Stadium on Jan. 26 and 29, respectively.

The Rangers won both games.

The Rangers, who are 4-0 in outdoor games (2-0 in the Winter Classic), cannot be the home team in the Stadium Series due to their lease agreement with Madison Square Garden.
