GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Rangers recalled D Stu Bickel on an emergency basis from Connecticut on Sunday to replace Steve Eminger, who injured his right shoulder in Saturday’s win over the Coyotes.

Rangers coach John Tortorella said after the game that Eminger would be out for “a while.”

Bickel, 25, has a goal and three assists, along with 80 penalty minutes, in 27 games with Connecticut this season.
