The Rangers recalled Tim Erixon from the Connecticut Whale of the AHL on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old defenseman opened the season with the Rangers and spent nine games before being sent down to Connecticut of the AHL, where he had one goal, 11 assists and 10 penalty minutes in 13 games.
