Arthur Kaliyev has been ruled out for the remainder of the season — including the playoffs if the Rangers make it — with an upper-body injury.

The 23-year-old forward, who the Blueshirts plucked off the waiver wire from the Kings in January, finishes the 2024-25 campaign having played just 14 games, after he started the season on long-term injured reserve with a fractured clavicle he sustained during training camp.

“It’s really tough,” head coach Peter Laviolette said before the Rangers lost 2-1 to the Flames and fell out of the playoff picture Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden. “Another young player that we’re moving in and out of the lineup and he’s done some good things for us.

“He got back in the lineup and got a chance to make an impact and that happened. That’s really tough. You never want to see anybody go down. It’s tough.”

Upon joining the Rangers, Kaliyev had yet to play a single game. He collected three goals and one assist during his brief stint in New York, over which he served as a healthy scratch 11 times.

Kaliyev is set to become a restricted free agent with arbitration rights at the conclusion of this season.

Carson Soucywas a healthy scratch for a third straight game, while Calvin de Haan watched from the press box for a seventh consecutive contest.

“[Soucy has] been good, don’t have any issues with the players that aren’t playing,” Laviolette said. “Again, six spots on defense. We’ve got eight defensemen here. I liked the six and the way that they’re playing right now, so we didn’t make a change [against Calgary]. We’re happy to have both him and de Haan here. I know it’s tough sitting out, nobody likes to sit out, but I like the way that our defense is playing right now.”

Brennan Othmannalso served as a healthy scratch for the first time since he was recalled on Feb. 24. As a result, Jusso Parssinendrew back into the lineup for the first time in five games.

After scoring the first goal of the game Tuesday night, Artemi Panarin notched his fifth-career 30-goal season and second in a row.

It also extended his point streak to 10 games (seven goals, seven assists), which counts as his fifth career point streak of double digits and his most since a 13-game stretch from March 21-April 15, 2024.

Panarin also currently owns a home point streak of six games.

Since the beginning of this month, Panarin’s 14 points are the most in the NHL before Leon Draisaitl (13 points) and the Oilers took on the Utah Hockey Club Tuesday night.

This is the star Russian wing’s fifth 70-point season with the Rangers, tying Mika Zibanehadand Mark Messierfor the fifth most in team history.

In reaching the 40-assist mark for the 10th consecutive campaign, Panarin has the most among active players and is tied for the sixth most in a row by an undrafted player in NHL history.

Panarin is also the first Ranger since Jaromir Jagr(2005-07) with 30-plus goals and 40-plus assists in back-to-back seasons.

The Rangers signed 2022 fourth-round pick Noah Laba to a two-year, entry-level contract, which will begin next season.

Laba, who just finished his junior season at Colorado College, will report to the Hartford Wolf Pack on an amateur tryout for the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign.

The 21-year-old center posted 10 goals and 16 assists in 29 games this season.
