OTTAWA — Rookie Ryan McDonagh was scratched from the Rangers lineup for Friday’s game here against the Senators with a knee injury suffered in Thursday night’s 3-1 home loss to the Wild.

The defenseman, who suffered a “wrenched knee,” according to John Tortorella, after colliding with Minnesota’s Kyle Brodziak, was replaced in the lineup by Steve Eminger.

The rest of the lineup is the same, with Tortorella choosing continuity over changing lines in the hopes of pulling the Rangers out of their goal-scoring drought.

Artem Anisimov will skate with Brandon Dubinsky and Ryan Callahan; Derek Stepan will be with Wojtek Wolski and Mats Zuccarello; Erik Christensen will center Vinny Prospal and Sean Avery; and Brian Boyle will skate with Ruslan Fedotenko and Brandon Prust.

The defense pairs are Marc Staal and Dan Girardi, Bryan McCabe and Eminger; and Michael Sauer and Dan Gilroy. Henrik Lundqvist will start in goal.
