The view from above wasn’t bad.
The Post’s Mollie Walker recorded the hectic line fight between the Rangers and Devils that broke out just after the puck dropped Wednesday night during the Rangers’ 4-3 victory at Madison Square Garden.
“This was my view of the fight (Mollie was right in front of our booth). A lot going on trying to call this,” TNT play-by-play man Brendan Burke said.
Rangers center Matt Rempe took on Devils enforcer Kurtis MacDermid in the main event, with K’Andre Miller-John Marino, Jimmy Vesey-Curtis Lazar, Barclay Goodrow-Kevin Bahl and Jacob Trouba-Chris Tierney also dropping gloves.
The overhead view was able to capture all the hectic action at once.
“This camera work is 10x better than TNT,” one follower wrote in response to Walker’s video.

The fight took place right after the puck dropped. Mollie Walker/XThe wild five-on-five brawl took place while many fans were in line at the concession stands at MSG and resulted in eight players — four from each team — being ejected.
Vesey and Lazar were the first to go at it on the ice and the other fights followed.
Every player — except for Vesey and Lazar, as their melee was the original fight — received game misconducts for secondary fighting.
The Rangers lost Miller, Trouba, Rempe and Goodrow, while the Devils were left without MacDermid, Marino, Bahl and Tierney.

The on-ice fracas was met with excitement from many, including Rangers legend Henrik Lundqvist.
The former Blueshirts goalie-turned-NHL on TNT analyst was seen on the broadcast pumping his fist while watching the fights on the monitors during the first intermission.
Former NHL defenseman P.K. Subban, who once played for the Devils, was also fired up about the action.

Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette and Devils interim coach Travis Green were also seen chirping at one another from their respective benches when the fights broke out.
Things came to blows after previous tension between both teams.
Rempe served a four-game suspension after he was ejected for an elbow to Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler’s jaw during their last meeting on March 11.
“The fans got what they wanted out of that,” Devils defenseman Brendan Smith said. “Good atmosphere, good game. … It gets the blood boiling, the fans enjoy it.
“I think everybody got their dollar’s worth. And it’s an expensive building.”
Wednesday’s game marked the teams’ third and final meeting of the season.
