A SMALL PRICE
Forcing a terrorist to endure severe discomfort or even torture for a minute so as to obtain information to thwart future attacks seems like a no-brainer to most Americans concerned for their country’s safety. Not so for the narcissistic liberal elite. (“Torture Tapes: End the Idiocy,” Dan. K. Thomasson, PostOpinion, Jan. 18).
Dan K. Thomasson obviously believes that calling for the end of waterboarding makes him morally superior to the rest of us.
He is completely wrong. Arguing for actions that would increase the risk of death for your fellow countrymen so that you may feel good about yourself is not moral superiority, it is moral depravity.
