Arts critic
Oliver Aldon James took the once-moribund National Arts Club and turned it into a glittering cultural oasis (“It’s Highway Snobbery,” April 17).
He has worked tirelessly and creatively — and has been a splendid president.
He is a man of conscience. In The Post’s two-page spread on James and the club, not one of the sniping critics is identified, and all quotes are without attribution. This falls below the usual standards for sourcing.
