Speaking as a practicing physician in New Jersey, I agree with everything Mark K. Siegel points out regarding the recently constructed health-care bill (“The Doctors’ Dilemma,” PostOpinion, Dec. 29).

This bill does not reform health care, but, rather, makes it worse. By necessity, physicians will be forced to see many more patients. Since there are only so many hours in a day, waiting times to see a physician will increase dramatically and office visits will be shortened — hardly an optimal way to deliver care.
