The Issue: Mayor Bloomberg’s criticism of the super- committee’s failure to reduce the national deficit.
***
What do Mayor Bloomberg and President Obama have in common (“It’s a ‘$uper’ Fiasco!” Nov. 22)?
Politicians like them think their ideology is correct and never check the negative results when their utopian plans do not produce.
They never look in the mirror and say, “It’s all my fault.” It’s this ego that will bring down what’s left of our country.
Americans are not lazy or uneducated. We’ve just been sold out by our own.

Bloomberg hit it right on the head in his response to the supercommittee’s failure to forge the deficit-reduction deal by its deadline, calling it a “damning indictment of Washington’s ability to govern.”
Bloomberg’s also right about Obama’s inability to provide needed leadership.
Any politician who can’t get the job done must be fired, just like in business.

Does anyone listen to our mayor anymore?
Bloomberg’s lecturing the morons in Washington on “leadership,” yet he increased City Hall spending by 75 percent in nine years and couldn’t get a single thing built at Ground Zero in 10 years.
Bloomberg’s destroyed this city more than all his lousy predecessors combined.
He even did what none of us thought was possible: Bloomberg outdid the Dinkins-Giuliani duo of incompetent empty suits.
