President Obama recently said information can be a “distraction” (“Bam’s iPad Slam,” May 10).
I guess he just wants us to shut up, sit down and not question what’s going on because his administration knows what’s best for us.
If he hadn’t gotten a free pass from the media, Obama would never have become president.

My wife and I love our new iPad.
We were shocked that the president would publicly find fault with electronic devices — especially when the nation is fighting two wars, has a monumental oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and just missed a car bombing in Times Square.
It is truly sad that Obama’s efforts are directed this way, and it’s not a good endorsement of Ivy League education.
