Usually it’s the book that gets made into a movie, not the other way around. But the Christian film “Firefly,” in which a husband (played by “Growing Pains” star Kirk Cameron) takes a marriage challenge before divorcing his wife, had viewers asking where they could get the guidebook the character uses. Now fans have catapulted “The Love Dare,” written by the same writers as the film, into the Amazon.com top 10. The book outlines a 40-day plan to love your wife again through various challenges, questions and scripture. The writers have a modest goal: They say they’re out to save marriage in America. Heck, it worked for Kirk Cameron, why not you?!
