Throngs of mad bargain-hunters lined up at 5 a.m, and, not unlike a tsunami, stampeded through the opened doors at a Wal-Mart and actually trampled a young store employee to death (“Worker Killed in Wal-Mart Stampede,” Nov. 28).

Our country has gone completely mad.
