Kyle Smith’s assumptions regarding Latino voters are thinly veiled threats to those of us who feel strongly about not rewarding illegals with jobs, housing and health care (“Over the Border,” PostScript, May 15).

Of course it’s about the almighty dollar, as it’s been for decades. They want, want, want!

But here’s what most citizens want: secured borders, immigration reform and enforcement of standing federal law.
