THE ISSUE: Bruce Springsteen’s performance at a rally for Barack Obama in Ohio.

I was one of those undecided voters, but after reading that Bruce Springsteen was campaigning for Barack Obama, I decided to vote for John McCain (“New Boss,” Nov. 3).

The front page with Springsteen and Obama is a classic.

A smiling Obama has his arm around Springsteen and is probably saying, “Hey, Bruce. You make more than $250,000 a year, right?”

Springsteen attempting to play a latter-day Woody Guthrie is laughable.

Guthrie didn’t live in a multimillion-dollar mansion and have a lifestyle that would have included attending the Southampton Horse Show every summer.

Springsteen is just another baby boomer man-child.

Leave it to a millionaire, $100-a-ticket, old rock-and-roller to back Obama.

With an Obama win, Springsteen will have enough material to make a few more records after Obama’s nuclear small-business tax plan sends thousands of jobs abroad or eliminates them completely when these businesses close.

Just sing, Springsteen.
