Looks like the New York Power Authority is getting some adult supervision, after all: On Monday, the state Senate confirmed Gov. Cuomo’s choice of John Dyson to serve as an NYPA trustee.

Dyson is expected to become board chairman — a good thing, given that the authority’s CEO, Richie Kessel, hands out NYPA cash as if it were his own.

Indeed, recent disclosures about NYPA “donations” sparked a stern warning to Kessel from Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Meanwhile, Dyson, a respected ex-NYPA chairman and deputy mayor, is well-suited to leash in NYPA’s top dog.

But there was a hitch: Kessel’s largess might have bought him enough influence to block Dyson.

So kudos to Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos for seeing Dyson’s confirmation through.

Now it’s up to the NYPA board to install him as chairman.

Until then, who knows what mischief Kessel might make?
