Everybody is talking about the “Bradley effect” – when white people allegedly are reluctant to say that they wouldn’t vote for a black candidate (“Beyond Race Baggage,” Afi-Odelia E. Scruggs, PostOpinion, April 29).

But how about the “Obama effect”? That’s when white people are reluctant to vote for a naive, slick-talking black man with no political experience who befriends racists and terrorists.
