NJ Gov. Chris Christie says what he means, because if you futz around, you wind up in an endless imbroglio (“Jersey Sure,” Kyle Smith, Post Script, July 4).

This may be a blessing for New Jersey citizens, who have always been sticking their hands in the government’s pockets for more money.

Christie seems to be a person who, if he failed to do something he proposed, would give it another try without any excuses — unlike our current president, who blames everything on George W. Bush.
